Chagford Hospitality Network (CHN) and Nabil Amini

Nabil Amini is an artist who came with his family from Afghanistan and Iran as displaced people. He first stayed in Chagford on a Chagford Hospitality Network(CHN) holiday in 2022. He says this about the artwork on the card:

“ TOGETHER - this painting means to me that saving the earth, people and nature is impossible without teamwork and helping each other to create peaceful places. Let’s save the birds together - regardless of nationality or gender.”

All funds raised from the sale of Nabil’s card goes to support holidays in Chagford for asylum seekers and refugees, who are based in Bristol. They stay in hosted homes in Chagford for 5 days and enjoy activities on the Dartmoor, including: walking, crafts, swimming, yoga, a trip to the seaside, sports and music. The Chagford community support the holiday project by hosting the refugees and asylum seekers in their homes, making meals, offering transport and helping fundraisers. It’s a meaningful and uplifting project which has a deep impact on our guests as well as our community.
