've been playing around with clay since I was a teenager. I mostly make one off pieces of sculpture using paperclay these days. I've never settled into one particular method and like all kinds of styles and techniques, from Raku to terra sigillata, I like handbuilding mostly as I'm not a confident thrower but I sometimes throw and alter. I've spent a long time doing drawings in museums of ancient artefacts from Neolithic onwards and have made copies of some of these ancient pieces.
